When the perceived easy way to have a baby does not work, couples seek help. An OBGYN or physician who specializes in fertility is always the first step. I have worked with Tulsa Clinic for Fertility and Women’s Health for eight years and believe that counseling is helpful to the process. The psychological pain of infertility is extremely distressing to many couples, especially women.

Along with the wealth of information that can be obtained from the internet, many women and couples derive assistance from discussing their fertility difficulties with a therapist. A husband may hear things that are very helpful about caring for a woman having difficulty conceiving.

Counseling can assist the process of fertility and can also be helpful when all attempts have failed.
